Travelling by Plane

Ryanair flights will cost around £60 from most destinations. For those wishing to arrive on Thursday 23rd April and not before, very early morning flights are usually the only option.

Dublin airport is 9 miles north of the city. From the airport, the 747 bus heads to the city centre via the convention centre. Taxis are also available from the airport, as are rental cars.

Travelling by Ferry

P&O Ferries serve the route from Liverpool to Dublin. Ferries depart at 9:30 and 21:00 daily, costing from £80-£100 per person each way, with a car. Unfortunately, the crossing takes 8 hours, and foot passengers are not permitted.

Services from Holyhead are available through www.irishferries.com. The fastest journey time is around two hours, and a return ticket for one adult with one car will cost around £250. For an adult travelling as a foot passenger, the same journey costs around £70.
